Interpreting Services We Provide
Simultaneous Interpreting
Simultaneous interpreting is the standard mode for conferences, large business events, institutional meetings, and any setting where multiple speakers address an audience
continuously. The interpreter renders the speaker's words into the target language in real time,
typically working from a soundproofed booth, with participants receiving the interpreted audio through headsets.
Simultaneous interpreting requires two interpreters per language pair, alternating every 20–30
minutes — a professional standard that maintains quality and prevents the cognitive fatigue
that affects interpreting accuracy. We organize all booth, equipment, and interpreter logistics as part of the service.
Suitable for: International conferences, European Works Council meetings, medical and
scientific congresses, large training events, product launches, and institutional events with continuous speaker programs.
Consecutive Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is used in settings where the speaker pauses at natural intervals — typically after a sentence or a paragraph — and the interpreter renders the content into the
target language. It requires no booth or technical equipment, making it the practical choice for meetings, negotiations, site visits, audits, training sessions, and field operations.
For business meetings and site-based interpreting, consecutive interpretation is the operational
default. Our interpreters in this mode are experienced in extended assignments — including multi-day and multi-week production-site engagements in industrial environments.
Suitable for: Business meetings, negotiations, supplier visits, technical audits, factory floor and production-site interpreting, training sessions, legal proceedings, delegation visits, and field operations.
Hybrid Interpreting
Hybrid events combine in-person and remote participants, with interpreting delivered to both audiences simultaneously. We provide interpreting support for hybrid formats — where some participants are on-site and others connect remotely — coordinating interpreter placement, audio routing, and platform compatibility to ensure all participants receive consistent interpreting quality.
Suitable for: International organizational meetings, hybrid conferences, cross-border board and committee meetings, and events with geographically distributed participants.
Whispering Interpreting (Chuchotage)
Whispering interpreting is consecutive interpreting delivered at very low volume directly to one
or two participants who need interpretation while others in the same room do not. It requires no equipment and is appropriate when a small number of participants need language support in an otherwise monolingual meeting.
Suitable for: Small meetings, bilateral negotiations, site visits, delegation accompaniment, and any setting where only one or two participants require interpretation.

Planning Your Interpreting Assignment
Simultaneous interpreting requires advance planning — booth equipment, microphone and
headset systems, and at least two interpreters per language pair must be confirmed before the event. For large multi-language conferences, logistics coordination begins weeks in advance.
Consecutive interpreting for business meetings and site visits can typically be arranged within a few days. For extended production-site assignments, we confirm interpreter availability and
schedule the engagement structure in advance.
What to provide when requesting interpreting: Event type (conference, meeting, training, audit, site visit)

Confidentiality
Interpreting assignments frequently involve commercially sensitive discussions, legally
privileged content, and personally sensitive communication — particularly in legal, medical, and
humanitarian contexts. All interpreters work under strict confidentiality obligations. Nondisclosure agreements are available for assignments involving sensitive material.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much notice do you need to arrange an interpreter? For consecutive interpreting at
business meetings and site visits, we can typically confirm availability within 24–48 hours. For simultaneous interpreting at conferences, we recommend at minimum two to three weeks'
notice for equipment and logistics coordination. For complex multi-language simultaneous events, four to six weeks is advisable.
Do you provide interpreting equipment? We can coordinate interpreting equipment — booths, microphones, headsets, receiver units — for simultaneous assignments. Equipment requirements are assessed as part of the quotation.
Can you provide interpreters for extended production-site assignments? Yes. Extended
consecutive interpreting assignments — including multi-week, multi-shift engagements at
manufacturing facilities — are a documented and active part of our interpreting work.
Do you cover non-European language combinations? Yes. Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic
alongside European languages are documented in our active interpreting history. Contact us with your specific combination and we will confirm availability.
Can you provide interpreters outside Central Europe? Yes. We have provided interpreting in
Vienna, Bucharest, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Verona, Milan, Rome, and other European cities.
Contact us with your location and we will confirm availability.
How many interpreters are needed for simultaneous interpreting? Professional standard requires a minimum of two interpreters per language pair for simultaneous interpreting, alternating every 20–30 minutes. For events running longer than four hours, this is non-
negotiable — it protects both interpreter quality and your event.
