Interpreting Services
Business Team Translations provides professional interpreting for conferences, corporate meetings, European Works Council sessions, factory floor operations, legal proceedings, humanitarian events, and international assignments. Our interpreters have subject-matter expertise in the domains they work in — manufacturing, legal, medical, financial, institutional — alongside their language qualifications.
We have delivered interpreting assignments across Central Europe and internationally — in conference halls, factory floors, courtrooms, humanitarian field operations, and corporate boardrooms. Our interpreters are selected for subject-matter competence, not just language fluency.
We provide simultaneous, consecutive, whispering, hybrid, and remote interpreting across all major European language combinations and selected non-European languages.
Interpreting Modes
Five modes of interpreting — each suited to different event formats, settings, and communication requirements.
The interpreter renders the speaker's words into the target language in real time, with a delay of only a few seconds. Requires a booth, equipment, and a team of two interpreters per language pair for assignments longer than 30 minutes. Standard for conferences, large meetings, and multi-language events.
The speaker pauses at intervals and the interpreter renders the speech into the target language. No equipment required. Suitable for smaller meetings, negotiations, site visits, factory floor operations, legal proceedings, and medical consultations.
The interpreter sits beside one or two listeners and whispers a simultaneous interpretation directly to them. No equipment required. Suitable for small delegations attending larger meetings where only a few participants require interpretation.
Combines in-person and remote participation — some participants are physically present, others join remotely. The interpreter may be on-site or remote. We have delivered hybrid interpreting for international organizations and corporate events with mixed in-person and remote attendance.
The interpreter works remotely via a video or audio platform. Suitable for online meetings, video conferences, and events where on-site presence is not required or practical. We work with all major video conferencing platforms and remote interpreting systems.

The quality of interpreting depends significantly on preparation. We recommend providing background materials — agendas, presentations, speaker notes, glossaries — in advance. For technical, legal, or medical assignments, subject-specific terminology lists are particularly valuable. We are happy to advise on preparation for any assignment type.
How We Manage Interpreting Assignments
We confirm event format, language pairs, subject matter, duration, and any specific requirements before selecting interpreters.
Interpreters are selected for subject-matter competence in the relevant domain — not just language fluency.
Background documentation, glossaries, and speaker materials are shared with interpreters before the assignment.
For simultaneous interpreting, we coordinate booth and equipment requirements with the venue or provide portable equipment where needed.
A project manager is available throughout the assignment — by phone or on-site — to handle any issues that arise.
