We have delivered interpreting assignments across Central Europe and internationally - in conference halls, on factory floors, in courtrooms, at humanitarian field operations and in corporate boardrooms. Our interpreters are selected for subject-matter competence, not just language fluency.

Subject-matter competence

The difference between fluent and competent

In a negotiation, an audit or a medical conference, the interpreter has to understand the subject as well as the language. A general interpreter can render words; a specialist renders meaning - the terminology, the implications, the things left unsaid.

That's why we match every assignment to an interpreter with genuine domain experience - manufacturing, legal, medical, financial or institutional - alongside their language qualifications. We do not assign general interpreters to specialist work.

Interpreting modes

Five modes, matched to your event

Each mode suits different event formats, settings and communication requirements. We advise on the right approach for yours.

Simultaneous

Real-time rendering with a few seconds' delay. Needs a booth, equipment and two interpreters per pair beyond 30 minutes. Standard for conferences and multi-language events.

Consecutive

The speaker pauses; the interpreter renders each segment. No equipment needed. Ideal for meetings, negotiations, site visits, legal proceedings and consultations.

Whispering

Chuchotage - the interpreter whispers a simultaneous rendering to one or two listeners. No equipment. For small delegations within a larger meeting.

Hybrid

Combines in-person and remote participation. Delivered for international organizations and corporate events with mixed on-site and remote attendance.

Remote

The interpreter works via video or audio platform. For online meetings and video conferences. We work with all major platforms and remote interpreting systems.

Simultaneous, consecutive, whispering, hybrid and remote - across all major European languages and selected non-European combinations.

Preparing your assignment

Good interpreting starts before the event

The quality of interpreting depends significantly on preparation. We recommend sharing background materials - agendas, presentations, speaker notes and glossaries - in advance. For technical, legal or medical assignments, subject-specific terminology lists are particularly valuable.

We are happy to advise on preparation for any assignment type.

Frequently asked questions

Interpreting, answered

Do your interpreters have subject-matter expertise?

Yes. Interpreters are selected on subject-matter competence in the relevant domain - manufacturing, legal, medical, financial or institutional - alongside their language qualifications. We do not assign general interpreters to specialist assignments.

Can you provide interpreting equipment?

Yes. For simultaneous assignments we coordinate booth and receiver equipment through our partners, and advise on requirements based on event format and participant numbers.

Can you provide interpreting for multi-day events?

Yes. For multi-day and extended assignments we provide teams of two interpreters per language pair. We have delivered multi-week on-site assignments at manufacturing facilities.

Can you provide remote or hybrid interpreting?

Yes. We provide remote interpreting via all major video-conferencing platforms and remote interpreting systems. For hybrid events we coordinate both on-site and remote components.

How much notice do you need for an assignment?

For planned events, we recommend at least 2-3 weeks' notice to ensure availability of the right interpreters. For urgent assignments, contact us directly and we will advise on availability.
